We believe that digital businesses grow faster when the people building their product also understand what the business needs to do.
We are based in Amsterdam. We have been building and maintaining web and mobile products in Django and Python since 2011.

DWS started as a team of engineers who built production systems and then got close enough to the clients running them to understand what the business actually needed. That proximity changed how we work.
Most agencies separate the people who talk to clients from the people who write the code. We never did. The engineer on your product is the same person who is thinking about what it should do next.
We’ve been building production systems since 2011. That background doesn’t disappear because AI now writes code. It’s the reason we know what AI’s code is missing.

Today, that means a small team of engineers working across development, architecture, QA, and security — on a monthly retainer rather than a project fee. The work does not stop when the build is done.
We stay. We learn how your business makes money. We come to conversations with ideas you didn’t ask for. You decide what to act on.
AI has made our team at least three times faster. That difference goes into your product, not our margins. The team still owns everything that ships. AI is an accelerant, not a replacement for judgement.

We work from Amsterdam. Dutch and EU law governs how we handle data and access. That matters more to European clients now than it did five years ago.
We have worked in Django and Python since 2011. Not because it is all we know — but because it is what serious web products are built on. The stack is not interesting. What comes out of it is. Business idea in, value for happy customers out.
Clients have found us by searching “django amsterdam” since the beginning. That is still a fair description of where we started and what we are best at.
